Another 1.86 Mn Sinopharm vaccines arrive

Another consignment containing 1.86 million Chinese Sinopharm vaccines was brought into the country this morning to control the spreading of COVID-19.

The vaccines were flown in by two SriLankan Airlines aircraft from Beijing, China.

Accordingly, with the latest consignment of vaccines, altogether 14.7 million Sinopharm vaccine vials have been brought into the country so far, Production, Supply and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals State Minister Channa Jayasumana said.
