An OIC arrested for alleged sexual harassment

The OIC of the Gandara Police Station had been arrested last night for allegedly sexually harassing a woman police constable.

It is reported that the suspect had reportedly molested the WPC inside the police station.

The OIC was arrested by a team of police officers on the instructions of Matara SSP Nishantha de Zoysa.

He is due to be produced before the Matara Magistrate's Court today.(Krishan Jeewaka Jayaruk)
