All development projects must adhere to environment preservation: Prez

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, who chaired a Viyathmaga meeting today, has observed that all development projects must adhere to environment preservation guidelines and no harm should fall upon the environment, the President’s Media Division said.

The President made these remarks during his first meeting with Viyathmaga members at their headquarters, Ethul Kotte after assumption of office.

At the meeting, President Rajapaksa has requested the intellectuals of the ‘Viyathmaga’ to participate in the government’s journey to make a better and prosperous Sri Lanka.
