AKD invites Chinese President to visit Sri Lanka

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake invited Chinese President Xi Jinping to visit Sri Lanka.

The Chinese President expressed appreciation for the invitation and the two sides agreed to maintain communication via diplomatic channels.

According to the joint statement, President Dissanayake expressed appreciation to the Chinese government and people for the warm hospitality extended to him during his visit to China.
