4mn doses of Sinopharm vaccines arrive in SL

Sri Lanka has today received four million doses of Sinopharm vaccines from China freighted by two SriLankan Airlines aircraft, the airport duty manager said.

He said the consignment, weighing 16,214Kg and packed in 41 boxes with dry ice, landed at around 16,214 am. The cargo was freighted by SriLankan airlines from Beijing.

The consignment was taken to the State Pharmaceuticals Corporation's (SPC) main warehouse complex by vehicles with freezer facilities (T.K.G. Kapila)
