43 injured in wasp attack

At least 43 persons including three monks were hospitalized after they were attacked by wasps this morning at the Kotagala Pirivena, Dambulla. The Police said that the wasps attacked the people due to noise created by a group of devotees who visited the area.The injured persons including the monks are receiving treatment at the Dambulla General Hospital (S.D)
