42 train services cancelled from tomorrow until further notice

Due to the absence of train-running staff, the Railway Department has decided to cancel 42 train services, including office trains and passenger services from tomorrow until further notice.

Accordingly, 20 journeys on the main line, four on the Puttalam line, two on the Kelani Valley railway line, and 16 on the coastal line are included in it.

Since the beginning of this year, many train services have been cancelled regularly, and the department has notified the relevant staff in writing as official cancellations. (Chaturanga Pradeep Samarawickrama)
