22 soldiers injured in bus-lorry collision

Colombo, April 21 (Daily Mirror)- Twenty-two soldiers were injured when a bus transporting army personnel collided with a lorry at the Manamala bend on the Nittambuwa–Kirindiwela road this morning.

Police said 20 of the injured soldiers were treated and discharged, while the bus driver and one army soldier still undergoing treatment at the hospital.

The lorry driver has been arrested, and further investigations are being carried out by the Kirindiwela Police.
