2021 A/L results released today

The results of the GCE Advanced Level (A/L) Examination 2021 have been released a short while ago, Examinations Department Commissioner General L.M.D. Dharmasena said.

He told media that the results could also be viewed on www.doenets.lk/exam or www. results.exams.gov.lk

Some 236,035 school and 36,647 private candidates sat for the examination facing all three subjects making it to a total number of 272,682 candidates appeared for the exam.

Meanwhile, a total of 1,071,497 (62.9%) candidates including 149,946 school candidates and 21,551 private candidates have qualified to enter universities, he said.

Examination results of 37 school candidates and 13 private candidates have been withheld.

The Commissioner General said that online facility will be granted for all school principals to download the examination results from the department's official website. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
