150 bar permits issued in 2021

The Excise Department said that 150 liquor licenses were issued last year and 81 of those licenses were issued for Tourist Board approved hotels and restaurants.

Also, 69 licenses have been issued for supermarkets.

However, the Excise Department said that not a single license has been issued since 2015 to general liquor outlets in cities.
