12 Indian fishermen arrested along with two trawlers in SL waters

The Sri Lanka Navy arrested 12 Indian fishermen with two Indian trawlers for fishing in Sri Lankan waters in the seas off north of Talaimannar last night.

The Navy said the fishermenr were arrested during an operation carried out by the North Central Naval Command off the coast north of Talaimannar.

The arrested fishermen and trawlers will be handed ovewr to the fiheries authorites for further investigations.
