S-lon Lanka (Pvt) Ltd was recently recognised with the accreditation from Sri Lanka Accreditation Board (SLAB) against ISO 17025 standards for plastic pipe testing for its Mechanical Quality Assurance (QA) Laboratory. 

Continuing its streak of industry firsts, the S-lon QA Laboratory is the first and only laboratory in Sri Lanka to receive such an accreditation for plastic pipes which recognizes the laboratory’s capability to meet international standards for testing.

The ISO 17025:2017 certification is an international standard that specifies general requirements for competence, impartiality, and consistent operation of laboratories.  In lieu of the accreditation, S-lon Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, will now extend its testing services to external parties as well, supporting the other suppliers of the industry to offer safe, high-quality products to the export market by meeting international standards.
