Tamil book publishers express concern over double standards

Tamil book publishers have raised concerns about being unable to secure a stall at the book fair currently underway at the BMICH. Out of over 100 stalls at the book fair, only 3 stalls had been given to Tamil publishers. While Tamil literature is as vast as Sinhalese literature, Tamil readers should also be given the opportunity to purchase their books at this much-celebrated annual event. Perhaps it is high time that book publishers provide an equal space for publishers of all languages to participate in the book fair.
