One Party rules on its way

Capitalist based political parties in Sri Lanka repeatedly warned the Sri Lankan voters at 3 elections (Presidential Parliamentary and local government) not to fall into the political ideological trap the JVP was setting up.

The JVP rightly used the reality of corruption by capitalists to camouflage their bankrupt ideology and convince the voter to get rid of corruption, but did not have the backbone to take responsibility or be accountable for the destabilisation the JVP caused to advance their political ideology.

This statement by Dr Nihal Abeysinghe, the Secretary of the NPP hopes to show the voter that Sri Lanka is not governed by the 2/3 majority they have in Parliament but by 5 or 6 members of the JVP politburo which is not elected by the people of Sri Lanka, and  to whom they are not accountable or responsible in any way.

The JVP politburo is only responsible to its card carrying members. If we do not correct this ideological and political direction we as a nation are now on politically and ideologically Sri Lanka is heading for one party rule in the guise of democracy akin to socialist political modes followed in China Russia Venezuela and many African countries.

Remember, the President threatened to cut off state funding for local government authority which the JVP did not win.
