Beware of Nursing services offered by the unscrupulous

I am writing to share my experiences with a  so – called private nursing company in Ratmalana whose services are  unprofessional with their  Manager  hoodwinking the patients.

I have been using their services for some time now. The first time I used them,  they sent a ‘nurse’ who was extremely incompetent to take me to Apeksha Hospital Maharagama and did not have a clue as to what she should do and I had to get back without having chemotherapy.

Thereafter their so-called Manager accompanied me together with another nurse – the latter look and act like incompetent teenagers. They do not answer my calls, and often leave me in the hospital and find some silly excuse to go out. There have been times I have called this Manager and nurse at at least 10 times and the former did not answer my calls whilst the other kept cutting the line. The previous couple of  times,   it was the Manager’s son who came as ‘nurse’ – she told me all the ‘nurses’ were ill. Once,  the Manager and her son left me saying they are going to the bank in Maharagama and returned after two hours!

Also,  this Manager is constantly on the phone even whilst consulting the doctors when it clearly states that mobile phones must be switched off.     

When I did some research on private nursing services that are registered,  the name of this particular company was not included . This may explain the reason this Manager  has not answered my question as to  whom they are registered with. Nor has she told me what her Nursing qualifications are or that of her ‘nurses.’

I am no longer using their services and will be going for treatment with others even if it means I have to pay more. The Manager in particular is very rude and even told me to go ahead and write about her to the press!
