Senior journalist Kamal Liyanarachchi passes away

 Senior journalist and Sinhala Complaint Officer of the Sri Lanka Press Complaints Commission Kamal Liyanarachchi passed away last evening following a brief illness.  

 Kamal is survived by wife Kamani Hettiarachchi and two daughters.  

 The funeral arrangements to be notified shortly.
