Sajith calls on the people not to make the same mistake they made in 2019

People should not fall into trouble by selecting an alternative in the way they did in 2019 in choosing the SLPP , Leader of Opposition Sajith Premadasa said over the weekend.   Premadasa who was speaking during a ceremony where he donated a three wheeler to the PHI in Kesbewa said people should choose a “weda karaya (some one who can perform) “ as the alternative. “ One should not fall into trouble once again as they did in 2019 when they chose the SLPP as an alternative,” Premadasa said.   

“ Many are claiming to be alternative forces today thus making it a political fashion,” he said.  “ I can assure you that I will talk directly to the heads of state in other countries if people elect me as Sri Lanka’s head of state. I will negotiate directly with my counterparts in other countries without sacrificing our country’s assets as a future head of state,” he added.
