The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) yesterday approved the scheduled power cuts from tomorrow.
Accordingly, the power cuts will be re-imposed from June 2 to 4.
A two-hour power cut will be imposed on June 2 and 3 while a one hour power cut will be imposed on June 4. There will be no power cut on June 5, the PUCSL said.
The decision was taken due to the prevailing low demand for electricity and the availability of hydro power generation.
