Milinda Moragoda meets new Canadian High Commissioner Isabelle Martin

Founder of the Pathfinder Foundation, Milinda Moragoda, met with the newly arrived Canadian High Commissioner, Isabelle Martin, in Colombo. 

The High Commissioner was briefed on the Pathfinder Foundation’s portfolio, including the forthcoming Pathfinder Indian Ocean Security Conference, scheduled for February 17 and 18, held biennially since 2020, and the 6th Bay of Bengal Maritime Dialogue, scheduled for late April and co-hosted with the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue of Switzerland. Several potential fields of collaboration with Canada, as well as global developments, were discussed. 

High Commissioner Martin, a career diplomat, last served as Ambassador to Qatar before her assignment in Sri Lanka. Chairman of the Pathfinder Foundation, Bernard Goonetillke, and Ahmed A. Jawad, Director, were associated with Mr Moragoda at the event.
