F R. Senanayake commemorated

The statue of F. R. Senanayake who played a key role to gain independence for Sri Lanka is garlanded.

The 100th death anniversary of Mr. Senanayake was commemorated in Colombo in front of his statue at F.R. Senanayake Mawatha yesterday. Buddhist monks delivered Anusasana at the ceremony.
