Dry rations valued more than Rs. 52 million distributed

A stock of dry ration valued more than Rs. 52 million was distributed among the people yesterday by President of  Kalutara District Sasanarakshaka Balamandala and of Thalagala Sri Siddhartha Foundation Ven. Thalagala Sumanarathana Thera.

Ven. Thera said he considered his duty at this crucial juncture to help people who offered alms and helped the temples. 

He said the donation was funded by Tan Ngak Buay & Kee Meng Lang Foundation rs. Limited in Singapore on the request of the Thalagala Sri Siddhartha Foundation
