CID to probe alleged leak of A/L Economics question paper

The Department of Examinations has lodged a complaint with the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) following reports that this year’s GCE Advanced Level Economics question paper had been leaked prior to the examination.  

According to officials, the Deputy Examinations Commissioner filed the complaint last week after various posts circulating on social media alleged that the question paper had been distributed before the exam.   

The Department said it had already conducted an internal inquiry into the claims but noted that no concrete evidence has so far emerged to confirm such a leak.   

Despite the absence of verified information, officials said a formal complaint was made to ensure the matter is thoroughly investigated.
