Body of missing woman found in home garden

The owner of the home garden and two others were taken into custody

A woman of Udayapuram in Jaffna had been killed and the body and her motorcycle buried in a home garden.
Police said the victim Pradeepam Jacintha (42) of Udaypuram was a money lender.

During investigation of her, relatives complained that she had gone missing for more than a week ,  the police traced the location and the body was exhumed on Saturday evening in the presence of Jaffna Magistrate A.A.Anandarjah.

The owner of the home garden and two others were taken into custody in connection with the killing, Police said.
The suspects had killed the woman during an altercation over money transactions.

Jaffna police are conducting further investigations.
