Digital travel platform Agoda has spotlighted Sri Lanka’s Nuwara Eliya as one of Asia’s must-visit hill stations, promoting the destination as a refreshing escape for travellers seeking cool climates, scenic landscapes and tranquil surroundings.

In a new travel feature encouraging tourists to explore Asia’s enchanting highland retreats, Agoda lists Nuwara Eliya alongside renowned destinations such as Shimla in India, Cameron Highlands in Malaysia and Sapa in Vietnam.  

Often referred to as “Little England,” Nuwara Eliya is celebrated for its sprawling tea plantations, colonial-era architecture and refreshing mountain climate, making it one of Sri Lanka’s most popular travel destinations.
