According to the spirit of words of the great Tamil genius poet Tiruvallur “It is impossible for anyone to conquer him by intrigue who possesses power of speech, and is neither faulty nor timid” (Kural 647). This Sri Lankan Student has drawn the attention of the world.
The student, namely Vijendirakumar Archchihan, who is the son of Vijendirakumar and Menaka, participated in the competition for the students conducted by NASA and brought great reputation to the people of Sri Lanka by winning it.
The National Space Society (NSS) declared his victory stating that Archchihan had designed the scientific Technology to be followed during the settlement of people in Space. In this competition, 26,725 students from 19 countries took part. Archchihan sent his proposal, which NSS accepted. NSS announced him as a winner and invited him to take part in the International Space Development Conference (ISDC) under the leadership of NSS in Texas. He was also given a chance to present his project at the conference
This victory is the result of his strenuous and hard work at the international level. This achievement is a precious gift to his hard work. The valuable appreciation, congratulation and encouragement to him have been mounting from good people of various parts of the world.
