Pananwala gets second term at TCK OBA’s (Colombo Branch) AGM 2022/23

The Trinity College Old Boys Association Colombo Branch held its 114th Annual General Meeting at the Christ Church Galle Face on October 29, 2022. The AGM was preceded by a Thanksgiving Service and a Fellowship Breakfast. Mr. Sidath Pananwala was re-elected as President for his second term.

The following committee was elected uncontested.

English education was first started not in Kandy or Colombo but in Jaffna. That was why older generation of Jaffna Tamils spoke better English than anyone from the South . The oldest British or American private school in Sri Lanka is not Trinity College Kandy or St Thomas College Colombo but St Johns College Jaffna. Of course the good old days of Jaffna is gone forever. Thanks to Prabhakaran, Sri Lankan Army , and the Satanic Indian Army.
