The American Institute of Architects The Art Within Architecture International Conferences and Banquet

Over 200 international and national delegates from around the world participated in this three day conference, deliberating on the theme, ‘The Art Within Architecture’, and was held at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel. The Guests of Honour were the Mayor, Vrai Cally Balthazaar, Former President, Ranil Wickramasinghe and Professor Maithree Wickramasinghe, the Italian Ambassador, Damiano Francovigh and Barbara Francovigh, and British High Commissioner, Andrew Patrick. AIA National President, Evelyn Lee flew down from the US to grace this occasion, with AIA International President, Yew Kee Cheong, AIA International President Elect, Segene Park, and the entire Board of AIA International also attending. 

AIA International Conferences were previously held in Kyoto (2017), Singapore (2018), Shanghai (2019), Dubai (2021), London (2022), Mexico (2023) and Hong Kong (2024). Sri Lanka won the bid to host the Conference for 2025.

AIA International Conference 2025 - Sri Lanka, was a phenomenal success, raising the bar for the upcoming AIA International Conferences.
