Soloist Dhiren Fernando Romantic Masterworks SOSL

Romantic Masterworks presented and performed by the Symphony Orchestra of Sri Lanka recently took place at the Lionel Wendt Theatre. The programme featured young soloist, Dhiren Fernando performing Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 01, the Adagio from Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 02 and Svendsen’s Festive Polonaise. The Symphony Orchestra is now in its 67th year of performances and is comprised with over 60 musicians and was conducted by Resident Conductor, Dushyanthi Perera.
