French National Day Bastille Day 2026

On the occasion of French National Day – Bastille Day 2026, the Ambassador of France to Sri Lanka and the Maldives, Rémi Lambert, hosted a reception at the Hilton Colombo. The Minister of Health and Mass Media, Nalinda Jayatissa, attended as the Chief Guest. The gathering brought together Ministers, Deputy Ministers, senior government officials, the Commanders of the Sri Lanka Army and Navy, members of the diplomatic corps, French nationals, business leaders, and members of the arts community, making for an elegant celebration of the longstanding ties between France and Sri Lanka.
