Floral Art Comes Alive at Shi-en Ikebana & Floral Art Society



Flower enthusiasts and art lovers alike are in for a treat as three internal floral demonstrators and members from the Shi-en Ikebana & Floral Art Society will showcase their creative flair in an exhibition and special demonstration. The exhibition will be held on 24th & 25th May from 10.30a.m to 6.30p.m at the IVY ROOM, CINNAMON GRAND. The Demonstration will take place at 10:00 AM at the ATRIUM, CINNAMON GRAND.

They will bring a unique perspective to the centuries-old Japanese art of Ikebana and Western floral arranging. They will present their interpretations of floral harmony, balance, and seasonal expression

The demonstrators, Harijanto Setiawan, the Society Advisor and an International Master Florist, Ester Law, an Ikebana Artist (Sogetsu School) and Christina Yew, a Freestyle Floral Designer, each will bring a unique perspective to the centuries-old Japanese art of Ikebana and Western floral arranging. They will present their interpretations of floral harmony, balance, and seasonal expression. The session promises to be a visually captivating and inspiring experience for attendees, whether seasoned practitioners or curious newcomers. Tickets are priced at Rs.4,000/= and guests will also enjoy complimentary refreshments as part of the elegant morning gathering. 

The Exhibition will be a testament to the members' dedication and skill. The demonstration by the international demonstrators will captivate the audience with their mastery through blooms. Visitors will get the chance to gain insight into the fascinating art of floral arranging. Part proceeds will be given to the Thalassaemia unit at the Ragama Hospital.
