The Bridgetine family held a heartfelt reunion that brought together past and present members in a joyous celebration of shared history and lasting bonds. Reverend Sister Principals, Community Sisters, former and current teachers, students, and their families gathered to reconnect and reminisce about their cherished days at St. Bridget’s Convent.
The occasion was graced by the presence of several esteemed Reverend Sisters, including Rev. Sr. Francine Muthugala, Rev. Sr. Sujani Fernando (Principal of the Collegiate School), Rev. Sr. Dilrukshika Silva (Principal of the Primary School), Rev. Sr. Velani De Silva (Principal of the Montessori), along with several past Principals who continue to be fondly remembered by generations of Bridgetines.
Adding a special touch to the evening was Guest of Honour Mrs. Ramali Wijewardene, herself a proud past Bridgetine, who brought warmth and grace to the gathering. The musical segment featured beautiful performances by Ms. Priyanthi Senevirathne Van-Dort on piano and Ms. Lorna Perera on accordion, who was also celebrated for her incredible 50-year journey in music.
It was an evening filled with laughter, music, and heartfelt moments—an unforgettable tribute to the enduring spirit of sisterhood and community that defines the Bridgetine legacy.
