The efforts, processes and practices of Union Assurance which has been continued throughout these years was once again recognised at the SLITAD Awards 2017 held for the fourth time.
The award recognises public and private sector organisations from Sri Lanka’s corporate world that excel in the field of training and best practices across human resource development (HRD). 17 Companies were selected to participate in this award ceremony after evaluating a written submission and onsite audit. Union Assurance has a prestigious history of bagging the Gold Award in year 2013 and 2014 along with the Diamond Award won in year 2015. At the awards ceremony which was held on December 13th 2017, at Cinnamon Lakeside, Colombo, UA was able to capture the limelight of becoming the only recipient of the Platinum Award given. It is considered as the highest honour in the history of the awards ceremony.
