In a bid to contribute towards the betterment of community health and to encourage a culture of preventive healthcare, Durdans hospital launched a campaign to offer free OPD consultations to the public.
The free OPD consultations took place from 25th to 27th September and prior appointments were encouraged through the ‘Book an Appointment’ link on the Durdans website.
Chief Operations Officer (COO) and Director Medical Services Dr. Wimal Karandagoda said: “As we celebrate 72 years of serving the people, our constant endeavor has been to reach out to all strata of society. It is important for us, as a pioneer in private healthcare industry, that the community we serve receive the most appropriate and comprehensive services in a welcoming and supportive environment.”
Durdans’ full spectrum of services is perfectly orchestrated and in alignment with the needs of patients and customers. The hospital’s notable distinctions include, being the first hospital in Sri Lanka, to be accredited with the Gold Seal of Approval from Joint Commission International (JCI), a U.S based consortium of leading health systems, for best practices in patient safety and quality clinical care.
