World’s first twin elephants attract tourists in Sri Lanka

The world’s first recorded twin elephants, who were born at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage in Sri Lanka on August 31, 2021, have now become a major tourist attraction.   


Sajana and Disa, the twin elephants, have grown into healthy young calves and are often seen joyfully roaming with the herd.   


Their presence continues to draw both local and international visitors, highlighting the significance of Pinnawala in elephant conservation and boosting tourism in Sri Lanka.
