SJB to take action against Eran?

In the aftermath of the government’s appointment of former Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Eran Wickremeratne as the Chairman of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) interim committee, SJB General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara yesterday said his party higher-ups will discuss the situation shorty and decide on a course of action.  

“It was Wickremeratne’s personal decision. He has not informed the party about it. He cannot accept a post offered by the government while being in the SJB. 

We will decide on action shortly,” Madduma Bandara told Daily Mirror. SJB later asked Wickremeratne to leave the party.
