Middle East war has no impact on Sri Lanka’s fuel supply

According to the government, Sri Lanka has received diesel and petrol from India, Singapore, South Korea and Malaysia in 2025. The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) Chairman, D.J. Rajakaruna said the Middle East war will not affect Sri Lanka’s finished product supply, whereas it will only affect crude oil supply. According to Minister Nalinda Jayatissa, Sri Lanka has received fuel from non-Middle East countries, where only one fuel shipment out of twenty-one was received from Oman for the last four and a half months.
