Mahanayake Thera’s want action against impostors

• Impostors have actually insulted the Buddha Sasana and Buddhist monks themselves

The Mahanayake Theras yesterday called for action against impostors who were arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport for carrying drugs.   

“ Quick action is needed against these persons who were dressed as monks and insulted The Buddha Sasana” a statement signed by the Mahanayake’s of the Three Chapters the Venerable Thibbatuwawe Sri Siddhartha Sumangala Thera,   Mahanayake of the Amarapura Chapter the Venerable Karagoda Uyangoda Maithri Murthi Thera , The Mahanayake of the Asgiri Chapter the Venerable Warakagoda Gnanarathana Thero and Mahanayake of the Ramanya Chapter Venerable Makalulawe Wimala Thera said.
