House hunting begins for MR

In the aftermath of the enactment of a new law stripping former Presidents of benefits, supporters of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa have started looking for a new house in Colombo to occupy, a source close to him said.  

According to the source, he is searching for a house with enough space to carry out his public engagements.   

The source said that Mr. Rajapaksa would vacate his Wijerama residence occupied by him since he lost presidency in 2015 once notified by the government authorities.
