Daily Mirror alerts authorities over misuse of its logo

It has been brought to the attention of the Daily Mirror and Lankadeepa that some websites and social media pages are misusing the Daily Mirror and Lankadeepa online logos with an intention of deceiving the public.
These online platforms show articles which have not been authored by any journalists of the Daily Mirror or Lankadeepa and redirect to various third-party websites which are not in any way connected to the Daily Mirror, Lankadeepa or Wijeya Newspapers Limited.

The Daily Mirror, Lankadeepa or Wijeya Newspapers Limited are in no way responsible for the content carried on any of these online platforms.

We have alerted the relevant authorities on the unsolicited usage of our company logos.
