Connect 2025 Youth Club Programme launched today

Connect 2025 Youth Clubs, in conjunction with today’s (23) National Youth Day would be launched today island wide and will culminate with a climax on Aug.12, International Youth Day at the Sugathadasa Stadium, Colombo.  

Announcing this at a presser at the Government Information Department yesterday, Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs, Eranga Gunasekara said, “Starting from National Youth Day in Sri Lanka, leading to the International Youth Day, the National Youth Service Council has decided to form Youth Clubs in the country.”

This would be essentially a platform for thousands of youth aged between 15-29 across the country to shine in a show-of-strength in various fields including sports, culture and National Youth Parliament to name a few.
