Anura Karunathilaka sworn in as Energy Minister He also serves as the Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation



President Anura Kumara Dissanayake yesterday appointed Anura Karunathilaka as the new Minister of Energy. 

Karunathilaka was sworn in before the President at the Presidential Secretariat last afternoon. He will continue to hold his current portfolios as Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation alongside the Energy Ministry. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, Secretary to the President, was also present at the swearing-in ceremony. In addition to the Energy portfolio, he also serves as the Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation.
