Sri Lanka Insurance held its ‘MDRT Day 2023’ to honour and recognise the MDRT winners of Sri Lanka Insurance for 2022.
The event was held on March 29 at Cinnamon Grand in the presence of the Chairman, Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer and the senior management of SLIC.
MDRT achievers for the year 2022 were felicitated at the award ceremony. The congregation consisted of TOT members, COT members and MDRT Life members.
The certification of MDRT membership is the pinnacle of Life Insurance salesmanship. Achieving MDRT membership endorses the commitment and dedication of the sales teams to achieve professionalism in the filled of Life Insurance salesmanship.
Chairman, Ronald C. Perera speaking at the occasion said, this achievement comes at a time most challenging in the history of Sri Lanka amidst a political, social and economic unrest. This demonstrates the will and grit of the Sri Lanka Insurance sales professionals.
The Chief Executive Officer Chandana L Aluthgama in his speech stressed the importance of taking the message of protection through insurance to all Sri Lankans in these challenging times. He also stated that the parameters of Insurance are changing with the competition from the insurance and non-insuranceindustries specially in the digital spectrum where insurance is just a click away. Modern consumer is looking for insurance protection and as an Insurance sales professional one should be equipped with knowledge and expertise to cater to the customer need and requirement.
