The Major Club T20 cricket tournament is in full swing with CCC, Moors SC, Chilaw Marians CC, BRC and NCC coming out victorious to record their second successive wins of the tournament in matches played on Monday.
In the morning session CCC coasted to a five-wicket win over Negombo CC at the NCC ground while Moors SC crushed Galle CC by eight wickets at Panagoda.
Panadura SC chalked up their first win when they defeated Air Force SC by 75 runs.
In the evening session Chilaw Marians CC overcome Police SC at NCC, with BRC getting the better of Kandy Customs CC at Panagoda and NCC destroying defending champions Army SC who underwent their second defeat at CCC grounds.

At NCC – CCC won by five wickets
