A brand new car carrier MV HYPERION HIGHWAY, one of the largest car carriers in the world, with a stock of vehicles from Japan arrived at the Port of Hambantota this morning. A stock of 553 vehicles is to be unloaded at the harbour. The ship is capable to carry some 7700 vehicles. A plaque ceremony was held on board the vessel to mark the arrival of the ship.
