The Special Boat Squadron (SBS) held an insignia awarding and passing out ceremony today to mark the termination of SBS training which was successfully completed by 21 sailors. At the invitation of the Commanding Officer SBS, Commander Dharmasiri Herath, the Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Suresh De Silva, graced the event which was held in a dignified sequence at the SBS Headquarters in the Naval Dockyard, Trincomalee.
The guests also witnessed a live demonstration of SBS personnel's combat skills and special events. The demonstration took place at the SBS Headquarters premises and the Nicholson Cove Sea area. The exercise was enhanced by the participation of a Bell 212 Helicopter from the Sri Lanka Air Force.

Why dont you fight some real crimes instead of these posturings? Crime is rampant and theose who have to stop it have become complacement and the courts just drags cases years on end with dates. How can people survive? only criminals can thrive.
