International Women's Day......we see how women make contributions to the economy.... it is said to be the highest, from the tea industry to the house maids in the middle east. But what is this government doing to uplift the hard working women? How about getting all banks to give credit at concessionary rates to cottage industries owned and operated by women ? How about giving a longer period of maternity leave to women working in companies and industries? How about giving a better education to women, since educated mothers brings up properly educated and well mannered children, who are the future of this nation.
