I agree with Yusuf. One section feel we should have power over another section. God if present watching.

Being an architect and a structural engineer, I know for a fact that very few of the man made structures in SL have been designed to withstand lateral acceleration resulting from a seismic event. The tectonic plates are moving and a similar event is possible in SL. I know for a fact that we experienced a minor seismic event while I was visiting SL in the 1980's. If we prepared ourselves and changed the building codes at that time, many of the high-rise structure would be better protected today. The irony is that it does not add an appreciable extra expense to the total budget of construction. Gravity based structures is a different issue. This subject is not taught at the higher institutions of learning in SL. People purchasing apartments should be aware. It is possible to retrofit, but would cost more now. Learn from Vancouver.
