Development projects in Kandy reviewed

Chairman of the Kandy District Committee and Kandy District Leader, Minister Ananda Wijepala, yesterday (15) inspected several major development projects currently underway in the district, including the accelerated construction of the Good Shed Passenger Transport Terminal, the Gatambe Flyover and the Mahaiyawa Tunnel.

During the visit, he told to officials the importance of implementing urban development projects in a manner that enhances public convenience while preserving Kandy's unique cultural heritage. Deputy Minister of Transport Prasanna Gunasena and a group of political representatives and government officials also took part in the inspection.
