IMF is not the problem...the problem is corruption in sri lanka...we have to keeping going to the IMF when we mismanage our economy and national funds, which our elected politicians have been doing for the last 40 years...

corruption is not exclusively politicians even you are liable to these allegations. people want/ need everything free of charge from fertilizer to electric etc where do you think this free money is coming from? Did you pay your taxes or go on strike. once you do your duty then you can get the politicians to do the same.

Do these people even know what they are protesting about, or it is asking the govt. to reinstate subsidies? Free 'lunch' is coming to an end. Get used to it. Be more productive and pay for what you use.
