For how long is the government going to shield Keheliya? Longer RW wait to give a direction more damage to the economy is likely to happen as these protests are highlighted overseas and prospective holiday makers take decisions against coming here when they see unrest in the country

Keheliya 'saved' millions by arranging to 'manufacture' drugs in his buddy's so-called factory in Sri Lanka instead of purchasing from India. This action has resulted death of patients reducing the population of this overcrowded Sri Lanka. Keheliya deserves the Nobel Prizes for medicine and peace.

The Ranil-Rajapakse government is accused of sheltering various corrupt politicians, displaying a reluctance to take punitive measures against the wrongdoers. Notably, former minister Khehelita Rambukwela stands accused of engaging in an unprecedented level of corruption. The fact that President Ranil Wickremesinghe appears to be handling Kheheliye's criminal charges with leniency is viewed as a historical blunder.

instead of holding fort under parliament priviledges in the face of such humiliating accusations from citizens of all quarters he should honourably resign and challenge the accusations as an ordinary citizen Just a few hours back a TV channel exposed the resignation of an MP of a foreign govt for robbing a garment from a clothing outlet. How many robbers we have in the midst of our govt administration and who are subject to unending commission investigations and shamelessly still holding on to the HOT SEAT under constitutional conditions

Soldiers with guns at a peaceful protest. Any opposition to the government is carried out under the threat of fatal consequences. Is this what our democracy has been reduced to under the governance of criminals ? All these organisations need to focus their attention on systemic change with rock solid safeguards to prevent arbitrary ministerial circumventing of existing laws to avoid prosecution.

People do not understand and appreciate KR. First, he used to go to India and purchase low-quality drugs from black-listed companies because they were cheaper and not because those companies would pay him higher Commissions. Now he has started manufacturing drugs in Sri Lanka saving a lot of money for this country. If many patients die after taking those drugs, it does not matter so long as this country can save money.
